K&R Mitsubishi Stages Rally 2012 - Marshalls Information

Marshalling

If you are unable to compete, but would like to help as a Marshal, we would welcome your assistance.

Please contact the Chief Marshal Nigel Winkworth on 01823 252432 or e-mail chiefmarshal@CRSWrallies.co.uk or winky@misfit1.fsworld.co.uk

What is marshalling?
Marshalling is the term given to the job the people on the ground who operate rally controls such as starts and finishes as well as the people who control spectators on stages and make sure the stage is safe to run. They are responsible for a particular section of stage or work under the supervision of a sector official.

Feedback e-mail's received by the rally organisers show how rewarding and important Marshalling can be in helping with the enjoyment of all:

Just wanted to thank all the Marshals for your fab assistance today in helping my dad (the wheelchair user) in accessing & aiding our enjoyment of the rallying earlier.

It was great to see such positive helpfulness & making us feel like it wasn't an effort like we sometimes encounter.

Here's to our return nxt yr

Many thanks

Best Wishes
