Preparations are now well in hand for the South West’s annual premier stage rally, the Brean Stages Rally  held at the Brean Leisure Park in Somerset. The rally will be held over the weekend of  24th and 25th January 2015 with pre rally scrutineering of he cars at the Weston College Skills Campus Motorsport Technology Centre on the Locking Road on Friday 23rd January.

This will be the nineteenth consecutive year for the rally at Brean and it promises to be as exciting and as big as ever with some of the top rally crews from around the UK expected to enter.

The rally, promoted by locally based Club Rallysport West, will be the opening round of 3 major regional rally championships, the Association of South Western Motor Clubs, Association West Midlands Motor Clubs Heart of England and the Cotswold Motor Sport Group.

The rally is held entirely within the confines of the Brean Leisure Park in Somerset and is expected to attract a capacity entry of around 90.  The crews will tackle the12 special stages over 2 days around the roads of the Brean Leisure Park. Such is the popularity of this West Country event that enquiries for entries have been received from all parts of the UK.

The rally is once again expected to attract a wide range of rally cars from state of the art World Rally Cars to the ever popular Ford Escorts, Vauxhall's and Peugeots.

A great feature of the rally will be the pre rally scutineering of the cars, which will take place at the Weston College Campus in the Locking Road on the Friday preceding the rally. This provides an excellent chance for the public to see the rally cars close up and admission to the campus is free.

The organisers are ensuring that spectators are well looked after with 3 spectator areas giving excellent viewing of the rally stages. This together with a covered seated grandstand and the parks inside and outside catering facilities will provide a weekend extravaganza of motorsport. Spectators will be admitted to the park over both days for an admission charge of just £5 (accompanied children under 12 will be admitted free) and car parking will be £5.
